Africa is beautiful everywhere you look, and still FaceTime calls with our Cambodia family make me anxious for the day I get to hug them again.

I’m counting down the days until I can hug my parents.

I long to watch Casey play soccer and I’d do anything to get coffee on a Tuesday with my dad.

I’m learning that there is so much to life. So much love and joy and laughter a lifetime cant capture all the places my heart longs to be.

I miss home but there’s no place I’d rather be than here.

I love coloring with kids at school and making new friends surfing on a Saturday!

The convenience store worker makes us laugh every time we see him and something about a sparking water after ministry can make any day better.

Instant coffee and bible time makes me excited to get out of bed in the morning and I love living by the beach it’s my favorite place on earth.

The beach reminds me that the wind sings his praises and the waves crash at the weight of his glory. The world is big and he knows us all by name.

Jeffrey’s bay is a place that the Lord is near and moving!

One more month in this beautiful place and I am overjoyed to be here!
